Beatrix was born on 6th March 1918 at Wardlaw Place in Edinburgh, the sixth child of William Henry Montgomery McEvoy and Annie Ogilvy Glasgow.
After her divorce from Robert Beatrix married Edwin B Spendley and moved to Australia where she died on 9th April 2007 in Port Noarlunga.
