William Henry Montgomery McEvoy and Annie Ogilvy Glasgow

 William Henry Montgomery McEvoy (1875 -  1940)

William was born on 25 August 1875 in Edinburgh. He was the son of John McEvoy and Dorcas Cavanagh.

William lived at 26 Montrose Terrace in Edinburgh as a child.

In 1891 at the age of 15 he was a tailor's apprentice and lived at 5 Abbey St in Edinburgh.

On 26th December 1907 he married Annie Ogilvy Glasgow in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Edinburgh. He was working as a mental nurse.

In 1918 they had moved to 9 Wardlaw Place in Edinburgh. William was working as a rubber worker.

William died of valvular heart disease and pulmonary congestion, aged 65, in 1940 at 9 Wardlaw Place. Until he died he was working as a night watchman.

Annie Ogilvy Glasgow (1877 - 1940)

Annie was born in Perth, Scotland in 1877. Her parents were John Glasgow and Mary Ogilvy.

As a child she lived in Edinburgh at 9 RoslinStreet and 12a East Thomas St.

In 1901 she was living at 11 Sutherland Street n Edinburgh and was working as  a machinist at a rubberworks.

When she married William she was working as a sewing machinist and living in 10 South Street, James Street, Edinburgh.

Annie died after 1940.
