John Keddie (1877 - 1931) John was born on 16th December 1877 in Dale Street, Galashiels. He attended St Peter's Episcopalian School in Galashiels until he was 13, when he started as a factory clerk. He probably worked at the wool factory where he later became a pattern weaver. He was 28 when he married Margaret Isabella Blain Graham at St Peter's Episcopalian Church in Galashiels. John died on 2nd May 1931 at 30 Waverley Place in Galashiels from a cerebral haemorrhage. |
Margaret Isabella Blain Graham (1880 - ) Margaret was born in 1880, the daughter of John Graham and Jane Irvine. Until she was married, when she was 24, Margaret worked as a woollen weaver and lived at 62 Waverley Place in Galashiels. Margaret died after 1932, details currently unknown. |
