James Hutson (1828 - 1883) James was born in Castleside, Ashkirk on 24 April 1828,the fifth child of James Hutson and Margaret Stoddart. He was christened in Castleside on 18 May 1828. He married Margaret Carswell in McNab Township, Renfrew County, Ontario in 1849 when he was 21. He died on 24 April 1883, age 55, in McNab Township.
